MAUTECH Lecturer and Clergyman Apostle Ademu Idama has died.

According to close sources, Idama died this morning at Gwagwalada Teaching Hospital in Abuja after a brief ailment.

Meet Adamawa State's Youngest Beauty Queen

Faith Benson is not even done with her teenage years but she is already a beauty queen. She is only 19 years old and has recently become North East Nigeria’s youngest ever beauty queen. The credit of this stupendous success story goes to dogged determination to succeed, Faith registered herself for the 2017/2018 “Miss Nigeria Carnival Queen” beauty Pageant which was hosted in Calabar, Cross-river state.

The event which was organized by Teedees Entertainment witnessed the emergence of three new beauty queens in First Place ( Miss Nigeria Carnival), Second Place (Miss Face of Carnival) and third Place (Miss Tourism, Nigeria Carnival Queen).

Faith Benson emerged the third place winner, making her Miss Tourism – Nigeria carnival Queen.

19 year-old Faith is an indigene of Gombi Local Government of Adamawa State 200 Level Stdent at the Moddibo Adama University of Technology, Yola

The grand finale of the Miss Nigeria Carnival competition which was adorned with glitz, glamour and style ws hosted at the Prestigious Transcorp Hotel, Calabar as several people gathered to witness the crowning of the 1st  Miss Nigeria Carnival

MAUTECH female student commits suicide because of poor results

The story is yet to be verified but i have received several calls regarding this incident
The Moddibo Adamwa University of Technology Campus was thrown into pandemonium yesterday when a female student of the department of Management technology, allegedly committed suicide on by taking a harmful mosquito repellent popularly known as "Ota pia pia" in Oba Adetona Hostel of the University.

Eye witnesses attributed the suicide to poor academic performance which she saw in her result sheet.

The school authority is yet to issue any official statement regarding the tragic incident

The National Emergency Management Agency released the figures for the total number of Internally Dislaced Person's in Adamawa state the statistics how that a total of 10, 892 persons are currently in the 3 IDP camps within the state.

Multimedia Department of AUN launches free weekly Photoshop trainning

On March 17, the Communications & Multimedia Design (CMD) program of SAS launched a free Photoshop software training series for members of the AUN community wishing to learn graphic design and photo enhancement.
Opening the series, Multimedia specialist Paul Ehinomen explained that the workshop was a crash course to encourage out-of-class learning experience for students interested in graphic design or photography.  “Photoshop is the most needed software in advertising,” he said.
The hands-on training, which lasts till end of the semester, teaches participants the basics of Photoshop, photo retouching, layer masking, poster designs, color theory, and composition.  Mr. Ehinomen began by explaining the basic toolboxes in Photoshop that create the magic, stressing that the healing tool helps the designer in photo retouching or manipulation.  He also encouraged them to learn the various shortcuts of the toolboxes for easy photo editing.
He announced that at the end of the semester participants will be awarded certificates.
